The lawsuit challenges  Arkansas’s school choice law, alleging the plaintiffs’ children are being forced out of the schools they’re presently attending and into the Malvern School District.
The lawsuit was filed Oct. 21 in the United States District Court Western District of Arkansas, Hot Springs Division, requesting a judge return the students to the schools where they were enrolled and that race be removed as a factor in school admission under the School Choice Act of 1989.
